Senior – After Care – “Big and Loud” Silver Sneakers

The program is designed to continue exercise programs for seniors that have either been in physical therapy or want to begin a general strengthening program to contribute to their overall well-being and fitness. Additionally, Fit Stop Physical Therapy specializes in the treatment of special populations such as senior fitness, Parkinson’s, MS, Stroke.

“Big and Loud”
The LSVT/LOUD or BIG program focuses on Parkinson’s disease. This four week course instructs patients in therapeutic exercise, and works in conjunction with physicians prescribing medication to improve the overall patient function.

“Silver Sneakers”
A targeted, senior specific fitness program designed to offer customized group exercise that helps reduce health risks, gain strength, and keep people moving. Several Medicare supplemental insurance plan pay for the individual costs of this program and “Sneakers” have full access the Fit Stop facility.

The Fit Stop offers twice weekly Silver Sneaker group classes that are led by our trained Group Exercise Instructors. Easy movements, easy exercise often chair based, encourages free motion, easy stretching featuring yoga moves, muscle toning and gentle aerobics.
